I will be at Taconic State Park in Copake Falls, NY on July 19 and 20 to help kick off National Moth Week.  I’ll be presenting a slide show on the evening of the 19th before heading out to look at moths and other nocturnal insects in person.  On the morning of the 20th, I will lead a walk focusing on finding moth caterpillars, but of course we will stop to investigate whatever interesting things present themselves.  See this page for details.

Last month I visited Margaret Roach for a walk around her garden and the surrounding woods, and she just published a blog post about our walk here.

I’ve just finished switching this website over to WordPress.  Please let me know if you encounter any glitches or have any other feedback.

Now I just have to get a few reports out of the way, and then I’ll be able to focus on my new book project for a while.
