I will be at Taconic State Park in Copake Falls, NY on July 19 and 20 to help kick off National Moth Week. I’ll be presenting a slide show on the evening of the 19th before heading out to look at moths and other nocturnal insects in person. On the morning of the 20th, I will lead a walk focusing on finding moth caterpillars, but of course we will stop to investigate whatever interesting things present themselves. See this page for details.
Last month I visited Margaret Roach for a walk around her garden and the surrounding woods, and she just published a blog post about our walk here.
Margaret Roach interviewed me about galls and leaf mines for her radio show and blog, “A Way to Garden.” You can read it or listen to the podcast here.
